There was a certain rich man, which was clothed in purple and fine linen, and fared sumptuously every day:

There is treasure to be desired and oil in the dwelling of the wise; but a foolish man spendeth it up.

No man can serve two masters: for either he will hate the one, and love the other; or else he will hold to the one, and despise the other. Ye cannot serve God and mammon.

And, behold, one came and said unto him, Good Master, what good thing shall I do, that I may have eternal life?

Let him that stole steal no more: but rather let him labour, working with his hands the thing which is good, that he may have to give to him that needeth .
