For I know the thoughts that I think toward you, saith the LORD, thoughts of peace, and not of evil, to give you an expected end.

Commit thy works unto the LORD, and thy thoughts shall be established.

Go to now, ye that say, To day or to morrow we will go into such a city, and continue there a year, and buy and sell , and get gain :

There are many devices in a man's heart; nevertheless the counsel of the LORD, that shall stand.

For my thoughts are not your thoughts, neither are your ways my ways, saith the LORD.

A man's heart deviseth his way: but the LORD directeth his steps.

And whatsoever we ask, we receive of him, because we keep his commandments, and do those things that are pleasing in his sight.

Surely goodness and mercy shall follow me all the days of my life: and I will dwell in the house of the LORD for ever .
